C'era una volta - Two visits The perfect night spot for drinks and a local crowd, listening to live music in Korce in the heart of the Old Pazar. Excellent value drinks and service, great vibes, positive energy and tunes. The decor is quirky and fun, and there is lots of space for seating and dancing—there is also a lovely, cosy fireplace upstairs. Friday & Saturday nights are best to dance the night away with the fantastic band and live DJ.

IN Gallery Hotel & Spa - Six nights Three nights turned into six nights at this newly launched design boutique hotel in early 2021, with the best view of the  Resurrection of Christ Cathedral of Korçë . It is a lovely village surrounded by beautiful mountains, unique old homes, architecture and the old bazaar. It is an excellent destination for nightlife, too. Hotel & Spa The rooms were spacious, modern, and designed with gorgeous bathrooms and lovely balconies. We found the Deluxe Double Room very comfortable for our six-night stay. The mattresses on the beds were too soft for us, but they were very cosy all the same, and the linens were high-quality. When booking the hotel, I recommend emailing directly to discuss the rooms available and details. It was one of the very few hotels with a Spa and Hamman. Unfortunately, we didn't get to experience it, but it looked beautiful and would be the perfect place to relax and escape during your stay. There is a great menu of treatments available. Breakfast is self-service with coffee as you prefer to order. The spread balanced healthy fruits, yoghurts, and nuts to your traditional pastries and eggs. Rooftop Restaurant This is the best steakhouse in Korce. The meat was absolutely incredible, cooked to perfection. There is a large selection of meat from which to choose your preferred cut. We dined throughout the week most days, and each and every meal was incredible, from the soups to the salads to the mains. Cocktails were exceptional and the wine list was extensive with a mix of the top Albanian, Italian and French red and whites. The views from the rooftop restaurant and bar were mesmerising over the beautiful orthodox church. Gerti and team were delightful. We loved connecting with Gerti, and our hearts warmed when he arrived early for his shift to wish us farewell on our future travels. He presented us with the most generous gift and said, 'So you will never forget us as you travel; a piece of us is with you. You spend time with us every time you look at the church'. It's moments like these that we are eternally grateful for the precious people we meet while we travel and create beautiful friendships worldwide. A very special thank you to Elena also for her local tips and for organising our transfer to Macedonia. It was always a pleasure chatting with Elena and seeing firsthand her talent in creating flower table arrangements for events. It made us wish we had a birthday to celebrate with friends. We loved chatting with the team and feeling like part of the family; they all worked well together and loved interacting with guests.

FindFour - One visit A great find in Korce is a venue restaurant, lounge and bar with a terrace. It is located in a lovely area and serves traditional Albanian food, Italian cuisine, and some Asian favourites. We sat on the sun-filled balcony, enjoying a bottle of Italian wine and traditional snacks. The meatballs and spring rolls were divine. It is a perfect place for a quick bite at great value with friendly staff.

Villa Domenico - One visit This restaurant is located in the heart of Old Pazar Korce, a new hotel and restaurant recently opened in a beautiful building. We came across each other during our walk and enjoyed a lovely lazy lunch while listening to live music. The design is high-quality, with comfy table seating and warm-friendly service. The food was delicious, with traditional and Italian dishes and a great selection of wines. The rooms also looked very modern and would have been a great place to stay.

Shend E Vere - One visit We stopped into Shend E Vere in the afternoon after lunch at the nearby restaurant Villa Domenico for a nice glass of wine . Located in the heart of Old Pazar Korce, in the centre of the square, it is the perfect place to enjoy a drink and watch the world go by. The outdoor seating is basked in sunlight, and food is available should you have an appetite. The staff was excellent and friendly, and there were great value drinks.

Restoran Mokum - One vist Restoran Mokum is a rooftop restaurant with beautiful views over Belgrade, including the Sava River. Located on the 7th floor of Hotel Amsterdam, it has a funky design and plush furniture. The excellent wine list is accompanied by a great menu. The salads were full of flavour and very fresh. The pasta dish we chose was mouthwatering, you can't go wrong with your choices. The staff is an absolute delight and very attentive. Overall, it's a great atmosphere. We really enjoyed our lunch at Mokum and definitely recommend it.

Terrific Sea View - Pattaya Bay - Top Pool & Beach - Two Weeks The apartment boasts some of the most spectacular sea views, perfectly framing Pattaya's vibrant life and beauty. Its location is unbeatable, nestled near exquisite beachside restaurants and cozy local cafes, offering both convenience and a taste of local delights. The space blends comfort and modern convenience, with ample room to relax and enjoy the scenery. Adding to the allure are the property's facilities, including two pools - one rooftop pool offering panoramic views and another lower-ground pool for more private swims. Access is made effortless with a lift directly into the apartment, a thoughtful touch that was greatly appreciated. What truly set this experience apart was the responsiveness and hospitality of the hosts. Their attention to ensure our stay was pleasant added significant value to our visit. Coupled with the property's exceptional features, it provided us with a place to stay and a delightful haven to return to after our day's adventures.

The Base - Two Weeks The apartment was in a perfect location, easy to get around and near many great places to eat and drink. Nestled in the vibrant heart of Pattaya, The Base offers a strategic and convenient location for travellers. Our recent stay at this Airbnb property revealed a compact yet comfortable apartment designed thoughtfully to cater to guests' needs. Though the space was adequate for our stay, there's room for improvement in cleanliness and maintenance to make it shine. The Base stands out not just for its prime positioning but also for its potential to be a perfect retreat in the bustling city. This accommodation promises a blend of convenience and comfort for adventurers looking to immerse themselves in Pattaya's dynamic environment while having a cozy spot to recharge.

It's often said, "better late than never," and this review for Gallo Nero restaurant in Belgrade should have been published just after they opened in early March 2022. We have since become loyal lovers and fans of Gallo Nero over the past few years, and each and every visit, we are continually delighted and surprised by the exceptional tasting dishes and the warmest, friendliest and kindest team; customers are family at Gallo, like most places in Belgrade. Hands down one of the best Italian restaurants in Belgrade, the pasta is always cooked Al dente, made with the purest and freshest ingredients, making the dishes delicious whilst using only the bare minimum ingredients required, yet full of flavour. The pizzas are authentic, and the tomato base is enough to keep you returning; it is super delicious with an excellent selection of premium olive oils and balsamic vinegars from Italy. The menu has something for everyone and will satisfy your daily cravings; the meats are also mouthwatering! And desserts are the bomb, be sure to leave just enough room as you can’t miss out!! The journey does not end with the food; a handpicked wine list beckons you to traverse the vineyards of Italy, promising new discoveries and favourites to revisit with each glass.
