Airbnb - El Jadida

From the moment you see the walled city that this sensational riad calls home to walking through the arch and entering Cite Portugaise, you can't help but get excited.

Beautiful old buildings surround cobblestone lanes. The home is everything you imagined, and the rooftop is also stunning.

We enjoyed seven nights at Reda's place and felt very at home, part of the community, and experiencing the culture. It was very cosy and traditional.

The riad has everything you need; we cooked dinner a few nights, especially being so close to all the beautiful fresh food markets we needed to enjoy the local produce.

A great wine shop is ten minutes away, where you can enjoy local wines with your dinner. The location is perfect; we walked around the city a few times and only caught a taxi once to Carrefour (the supermarket).

It would be best to visit the nearby Hotel L'Iglesia for a lazy lunch in the sun and a sunset drink on the terrace. It's a hidden treasure with delicious food.

Reda is a fabulous host; he and his father are very responsive and helpful and love sharing many local hotspots to visit. He speaks excellent English and even transferred us to our following location in Ouadilia for a fee, which was a beautiful drive along the coast.

I highly recommend a stay at this beautiful riad. Enjoy a few days in El Jadida, exploring and eating to your heart's content.
