The vintage Casablanca It's hard to find; you must walk down a lane, but it's well worth searching for this little gem. The staff were really friendly, and the venue had an eclectic vibe.

Scara'Bay Beach Club The Scarabay Beach Club Tamarind feels like a slice of paradise. Set against the beautiful Playa del Tamaris, the club's stylish interiors and panoramic views immediately caught my eye. Spending a day here was a perfect escape. The facilities were impressive, including a sea-view pool and convenient shower amenities. I loved the variety of food and drink options; fresh, local seafood was a highlight. They even offer rental accessories and equipment, making it easy to try paddleboarding and surfing, which added to the fun. The atmosphere was incredibly cozy and relaxed, exactly what I needed for a day of unwinding. Live music and events created a vibrant yet laid-back vibe, making the experience even more enjoyable. The friendly and attentive staff ensured my visit was smooth and pleasant. Whether you're looking to enjoy a delicious meal, sip cocktails by the pool, or soak in the beautiful coastal views, Scarabay Beach Club Tamarind promises a memorable and enjoyable visit.

L’Araignée Gourmande It's a great casual seafood restaurant with a minimal wine selection.

Hôtel L'Hippocampe It is a nice hotel restaurant that services a range of wines and has a fantastic view of the inlet. It has excellent Wi-Fi and is the perfect place to sit back and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the tide move.

The hidden gem of the green lagoon - Five Nights The most picturesque seaside town, we fell in love with Oualidia. Fatima, our host, was an absolute pleasure; she immediately made us feel at home and part of the community. The most picturesque seaside town, we fell in love with Oualidia. Upon arrival, she invited us to experience a traditional post-wedding celebration in her family's home; it was so much fun to be included and experience the local culture. The home is everything you imagine, a beautiful and cosy riad, and the pictures were spot perfect. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay for six nights. The riad has everything you need; we cooked dinner a few nights, and you are very close to all the beautiful fresh produce markets and local stores. The location is perfect; it is just a short walk from everything in Oualidia. We dined out every day and sampled all the local restaurants. You must visit the nearby hotel called Le Temps Perdu for a lazy lunch in the sun on the terrace and the most incredible view. It's a hidden treasure with delicious food and wine. Be sure to visit L'Hippocampe, Ostrea II and L'Initiale for a nice bottle of wine and more delicious food. Fatima is a fabulous host, both Fatima and her family are very responsive, helpful and make you feel welcome. Fatima speaks excellent English and is a very inspirational young lady, and we loved sharing our life knowledge and experience with her, too. We were disappointed we missed out on her mother's cooking after reading all the rave reviews, but time did not permit. I would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful riad and enjoy a few days in Oualidia, exploring the sensational lagoon views and devouring all the fresh seafood and local cuisine.

Ostrea II It is a very popular seafood restaurant that also caters to steak eaters. You will enjoy the extensive, high-quality wine list and great views. It can get bustling when a tour bus arrives. We ate here twice.

Le temps perdu We dined here three times. It's the only place to sit outdoors with a glass of wine, savour delicious food, and take a breathtaking view. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Café New Day Perfect local cafe. It is the perfect local cafe. We thoroughly loved sitting in the sunshine watching everyone go past. It also had a great breakfast and coffee.

Souk/Market In the coastal town of Oualidia, the vibrant souk beckons visitors with its colourful stalls and aromatic scents. Wandering through the bustling marketplace, I was captivated by the array of handcrafted goods, spices, and friendly vendors eager to share their stories. Immersed in the warmth and hospitality of the locals, I indulged in shopping for unique souvenirs and savoured authentic Moroccan cuisine at a local eatery. As the sun set over the souk, illuminating the bustling marketplace, I felt grateful for the unforgettable experience and the cherished memories made in Oualidia's enchanting souk. I loved seeing the snake charmers entertaining everyone. I love the minor miscommunication that led me to accidentally buy 2 kilograms of biscuits instead of two individual ones.
