- Airbnb - Zagreb
Fingerprint Tree - Hotel standard apartment - Seven Nights Fingerprint Tree - Hotel standard apartment It is the perfect location to explore Zagreb on foot; you are in the city's heart with all the hotspots on your doorstep. This is an excellent, funky area with lively local bars, restaurants, markets and retail. This Airbnb is very quiet. The bedroom has complete dark-out blinds (yeah!), and the little outdoor area, as does the whole apartment. The kitchen was small but well-equipped; we could cook most nights and had everything we needed. A great supermarket is a five-minute walk away, along with a fresh fruit and vegetable market in the square. My only concern (a common issue in Croatia) is that they supply no cleaning products. For example, the dishwasher didn't have salt, rinse aid, etc. I suggest you bring your cleaning products and take them to each Airbnb as you travel. Vid, our Airbnb host, was fantastic to communicate with, very prompt, and constantly checked in to ensure you were satisfied with the apartment. It is excellent value for money, and if we returned to Zagreb, I would choose Vid's place again.

While sitting at the cafe, we were lucky to experience a vintage car rally driving through the streets of Zagreb. Choco cafe - Zagreb

- Orient Express - Zagreb
Orient Express - One Visit It is well worth stopping by this bar/cafe, sitting inside and being taken back to the days of travel by train. The restaurant is an authentic replica of the famous Orient Express train. It feels like a tourist trap, but the pricing is reasonable, the service is excellent, and locals visit it. The attention to detail and experience made it memorable.
