What a nice restaurant, with a lovely courtyard and a great lunch menu. The extensive wine list perfectly complements the food.

We arrived mid-afternoon, avoided the crowds and had a late lunch or early dinner right on the lake. Then explore Hallstatt in the evening.

It is an area of over-tourism. To understand the actual impact, just image the majority of Austrian's have not visited due to day trippers.
