  • Swanky Monkey Garden - Zagreb

Swanky Monkey Garden Swanky Monkey Garden - Zagreb Nothing is better than walking into a backpacker's hotel with a cool cocktail bar at the back. The drink prices are very reasonable, the service is good, and the selection of drinks is diverse. Just to let you know, this place gets super crowded once the workers arrive at 6 pm. • Best location Airbnb - Zagreb

Premium Class Apartments II - Three nights This Airbnb is in the central Zagreb city centre, in the main square. Premium Class Apartments II What a find; this Airbnb is so centrally located that you would be hard-pressed to find a better location or Airbnb in Zagreb. The enormous bathroom includes a washing machine, plenty of hot water, and, most importantly, space! The newly installed kitchen can easily handle a more extended self-catered stay; however, the central location to all the bars, restaurants, and major tourist sites means you'll often be staying out instead of eating in. A newly installed lift removes any issues you'll have with stairs, and the full blackout shades ensure a deep sleep after a full day of exploring beautiful Zagreb. Even a full-size fridge and dishwasher are included. This is the third Airbnb in Zagreb we've reviewed, and the best available on Airbnb. Vedran and Rea, your hosts, are hot, friendly, accommodating, and quick to respond.

Villa Edo - 21 Nights From the moment you arrive at Villa Edo, you will not want to leave - one word - Incredible! Villa Edo - Gammarth Anne and Mario are the most amazing hosts, and they make you feel so special that you don't want to leave their beautiful, tranquil, magnificent luxury homes. They are both a pleasure to get to know and spend time with; we loved our evening catch-ups and all dining together. Both are so thoughtful and generous that you always feel like you have stayed within your welcome. Wayne and I will miss you all dearly. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for welcoming us into your home. You receive 6-star service from their chef, Kamel, who is a delight to spend time with. He is genuinely spoiled with his incredible food and treats all day long; he is also incredibly caring and never wants you to lift a finger. Nothing is too much for him. We felt like royalty throughout our two-week stay. The property is beautiful in all aspects, from the room and outdoor space to the salon; the home is decorated warmly and is very picturesque. I loved the decor and all the beautiful fresh flowers, too! Almost every piece and detail of the house has been designed and made by the owners. It is remarkable. Enjoy the Mediterranean Ocean views, mesmerising sunrises, and sunset all day. The house staff are a dream, and the home is to the highest standard; it is sparkling clean! Villa Edo - Gammarth We love Villa Edo so much that we extended our three-night stay to fifteen nights while visiting Tunis; you felt at home. The location is lovely; it is a short walk down to the beach and Gammarth, with restaurants nearby. It is only a 15-minute taxi ride from the airport to Sidi Bou Said, the Santorini of Tunisia. This vibrant city has beautiful blue and white buildings and fabulous restaurants with spectacular views. Twins Barber Shop Fantastic hairdressers, this barber is owned by twin brothers who are an absolute delight. Twins Barber Shop - La Marsa We needed a freshen-up while travelling in Tunisia and were fortunate to find excellent hairdressers nearby in La Marsa. The barbershop is bursting at the seams with clients, and you can genuinely see the support they have from the local community and all their friends. It's a fantastic atmosphere, like a local hangout spot, where the boys can catch up with all their friends. We visited twice during our stay and were impressed with their cutting and styling skills. Every client walks out of the shop looking brand new. Twins Barber Shop - La Marsa Excellent value for the quality of hairdressing; these boys are real stylists, and a new hairstyle costs only 35 TND. We hope to visit again soon if we return to the fabulous La Marsa and Tunisia.

  • Dar Zarrouk - Sidi Bou Saïd

Dar Zarrouk Sensational on all fronts, we ate here four times. Dar Zarrouk - Sidi Bou Saïd The team had magical views of the beautiful Mediterranean Sea, which was delightful and fun. The food was delicious, and the drinks list was endless. Dar Zarrouk is the perfect place for a lazy lunch in a gorgeous setting. It has a unique outdoor space in the garden, full of sunshine and surrounded by beautiful gardens. There is ample seating inside to enjoy your food and stunning views. There is also a very well-designed bar with a great lounge area. Dar Zarrouk - Sidi Bou Saïd We enjoyed both divine courses, including a local specialty: brik (tuna) and beef carpaccio. The mixed grill and filet steak followed, which also went down a treat. The chef visited us to ensure our meals were also enjoyed. The drinks list has many cocktails and a pervasive wine list with some local favourites. If you are a fan of Negronis, you will be satisfied! We even ordered off-the-list espresso martinis, and they were very accommodating; as soon as they had the recipe, our cocktails arrived and were spot on! The staff and management were attentive and never kept us waiting. They were also lovely to chat with and joke with, and overall, we were made to feel very welcome. For such a wonderful hidden gem in Sidi Bou Said, the pricing was very affordable for the restaurant's quality, 5-star service and mouthwatering food. Great value! We can't wait to try Dar Zarrouk again while staying in Tunis, to sample more of their delights on their menu, and to enjoy another fabulous lazy lunch or dinner experience. Thank you to the entire team at Dar Zarrouk for making us feel so welcome; we look forward to seeing you soon! Dar Zarrouk - Sidi Bou Saïd
