Samui Sunset 22G - Two Weeks Spectacular pool villa at Horizon Villas in Bophut, the facilities and estate were above expectation. The pool and garden are very private and very well maintained. The villa was immaculate and had all the facilities needed for a delightful stay. Very spacious too. The villa is also cleaned weekly with fresh linen and towels replaced. Leonie and Barton are incredible hosts and very easy to communicate with and accommodate your requests. We stayed in the villa for about one month and enjoyed the peaceful nature and location. You are only a short trip using Navigo from Fishermans Village (Walking Street) and Chaweng. Some great bars and beach clubs nearby in Bangrak make your stay even more enjoyable. Osho Luxury Beachfront Apartments - 11 Months This is a gorgeous modern two-bedroom apartment in the heart of Fisherman's Village. Stunning decor, spacious and right on the beachfront. Kalara take outstanding care of you, and the properties are immaculate; the maid cleans daily. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. You are on the doorstep of the beach and a wide variety of restaurants of all cuisines and bars.

Karma Pasta - Multiple Visits In the best location in Fisherman's Village, you can enjoy a great pizza or a wide selection of pasta dishes and even design your pasta. The team are full of smiles and great fun, especially Khun Joy. Service and the vast selection of wines and cocktails at very affordable pricing cannot be faulted. Great place to also relax for a drink and watch the hustle of the village, especially Friday night Walking Street. They also offer takeaway and delivery, which always arrive quickly, and the temperature is perfect.

2 Fishes - Weekly Sensational Italian. You won't be disappointed 2 Fishes is a perfect place for fresh Italian dishes and those seafood lovers - a wide selection of freshly caught local fish as daily specials. They also have a great variety of mouthwatering meat dishes! We have sampled most of the menu and keep coming back for more. It's great to relax and enjoy wine with delicious pasta. Massive fan of the fresh gnocchi made by the chef daily; all dishes have the perfect amount of spice to remind you of Thailand. The atmosphere is cosy, and it's great watching the team prepare your meal; as the kitchen is open in the restaurant, I love watching the grill, especially a whole fish cooked on the open grill. Located in Fisherman's Village, perfect for sitting up at the bar and watching the world wander by, it's a restaurant well-known by locals, so you will be sure to meet some friendly faces too. Staff are an absolute pleasure, always smiling and there by your side to ensure you don't go thirsty or hungry. Chef Leandro will pop by your table to say hi and provide you with the daily specials or his recommendations; he is also very accommodating with all dietary requirements. The excellent wine list and cocktails are exceptional; just like the fresh food, they keep you returning for more.

Ocean 11 - Five Visits Perfect restaurant for a sunset view. Fabulous restaurant located in Bangrak, Bophut, on the beach. Best to arrive just before sunset as you have a perfect view of watching the sunset over the ocean. The drinks are of great value if you are partial to a glass of wine, only 200 baht per glass and the food was delicious. We ate Thai and only needed two appetisers and one main between us, great serving sizes. Our central included Beef, which was of very high quality; go back for more. Ocean 11 does not charge the 7% tax and 10% service charge, a bonus. The decor is charming, and the location is perfect for a romantic dinner. The service was excellent and very attentive.

Nikki Beach Club - Two Visits Great venue when they have major events, like their famous white party, others, it's a bit far to travel for a Sunday session etc.

Yin Yang - Multiple Visits It has always been a favourite lunch or dinner spot in Fisherman's Village. Beautiful restaurant with excellent quality food. We always opt for the Thai, as it is priced and delicious. Excellent wine selection and cheap carafes. The location is perfect, with a view of the beach. They also do a great fire show a few nights a week, which is very entertaining.

Link Cuisine & Lounge - Multiple Visits A lovely rooftop bar and restaurant for evening cocktails in Fisherman's Village. Great decor and a gorgeous view of the beach. Good quality drinks and food.

Red Moon - Twice a week for a year Fantastic atmosphere at Red Moon; we were frequent dinner guests as we lived across the road for 11 months. We loved the Thai special for 300 baht, a starter and main, they were even kind enough to deliver most nights, and the food was always perfect and beautifully plated. If you are looking for a good quality steak, you will not be disappointed; very well priced, too, for Samui. You couldn't pass up the 100 baht cocktails; the gin fizz was our fave. Gao and Kitty were fabulous hosts; they always loved sharing a drink and up for a chat. Gao is full of life, not only a great chef but also a friend, and he always goes above and beyond. A few nights a week, the live music was always fun, constantly changing every few weeks; the whole restaurant would be up and singing and dancing; it was never a dull night. Red Moon is located in the heart of Walking Street. So always full of energy and people from all walks of life and a hotspot for locals.
