  • Klub književnika - Belgrade

Klub književnika - One visit Step back in time to an era of exquisite fine dining with Parisian vibes. This beautiful restaurant exudes class and is tucked away in a quiet tree-lined street in the heart of Belgrade. The restaurant is housed in a beautiful home built in the mid-19th century, with stunning decor and a wonderful ambience. Exceptional service, you are greeted with smiles and positive energy from the entire team. Our waiter was an absolute delight and understood our dining preferences instantly, slow and steady to enjoy our lazy long lunch. A menu that tempts your tastebuds with bursts of flavours as the chef takes you on a journey, traditional Serbian cuisine, all ingredients sourced locally. We dined our way through the afternoon and were incredibly impressed by each and every choice. We can't wait to return and continue the journey and sample more of the delicious dishes. Well-selected wine choices complement the cuisine. The menu is very extensive, with a wonderful variety of local wines to satisfy everyone's palate. All your favourite cocktails are available too. We absolutely loved our dining experience, especially outdoors under the leafy glass-enclosed atrium. We cannot recommend Klub književnika highly enough.

  • Enso Restoran - Belgrade

Enso Restoran - One visit Enso Restoran came highly recommended by friends in Belgrade, as a Michelin star dining experience. A place you visit as a destination restaurant, as the location leaves a little to be desired, located off a busy road, but the setup has been designed to ensure you have the privacy of a fine dining establishment. We feel this is definitely more of a dinner establishment as opposed to a long lazy lunch restaurant. During the hot summer days of Belgrade, unfortunately, the comfort isn't there, due to no air conditioning or fans, inside and outdoors. This did cause us to shorten our typical long lazy lunch due to the level of comfort. When charging a higher premium for food and wine, you do expect the little extra luxuries to ensure you can enjoy the experience. Update: Good news, since our visit we have been notified by the restaurant that it is in fact air-conditioned and it was out of action during our visit, so you can be assured the temperature will be comfortable to enjoy the full dining experience. Front of the house go out of their way to make you feel welcome and very attentive service, unfortunately, the back of the house just needs that little bit of extra effort, although we suspect during the evening you will receive the experience that you expect. The food was good, and plated beautifully, unfortunately, the steak was served rare as opposed to medium as requested, overall felt a little rushed, even though we were the only guests dining that day. The Interior indoors is stunning and huge marks for our very attentive and friendly waiter, he definitely made our day. Definitely still recommend the restaurant, as honestly feel you will receive an amazing experience for dinner during the cooler months.

  • Homa Restaurant - Belgrade

Homa - One visit Homa is a destination restaurant in Belgrade, Serbia. Fine dining at its best, complete silver service with food and wine to match. A short taxi ride from Republic Square or a 15-minute walk should you wish to stroll. Absolutely stunning Interior and decor indoors and a private garden surrounded by beautiful trees for outdoor dining. The lovely staff make sure your dining experience is five stars, including gloves to set the tables. Nevena, our very attentive waitress, was an absolute delight. An extensive international wine list with a curated selection of verticals, with an excellent range of wines by the glass available. We enjoyed a local glass of sparkling rose, only available in a magnum, followed by a french chablis. The food is exceptional, we started with a fresh salad and fish dish, and we all know how Wayne feels about fish, but he devoured the trout in a heartbeat. All dishes were bursting with flavour and deliciousness. We couldn't pass up the roasted lamb, and we were very pleased we chose it, the final result was perfection. The icing on the cake was the dessert, a mouthwatering Lemon Tart with Elderberry-Yoghurt Sorbet and Pine Nuts and Honey Dressing, accompanied by a special surprise, the Temet Rose sparkling. If you are looking for a wonderful fine dining experience, you can trust Homa to take you on a culinary journey. They also have a degustation available with matching wines for the full experience.

  • Mama Shelter - Belgrade

Mama Shelter - One night A very trendy hotel in the heart of Belgrade, the best location to explore the wonderful city and escape from the bustling centre. All the staff are effervescent and very friendly, with a great vibe and energy. The hotel has an awesome design, it's quirky and fun and sparkling clean throughout It is very family-friendly, with free arcade games, table tennis, loads of books, and soccer tables for the kids to entertain themselves. Our room 'Large Mama' was very spacious, with a massive balcony overlooking the beautiful Kalemegdan Park from level 1, and we were spoilt with sunset views. A restaurant is located on the top floor with a fabulous rooftop bar and dining to enjoy the magical sunsets of Belgrade, the best we have found in the centre. Great value and quality cocktails, incredible food, pizzas were divine and live music regularly to soak up the city energy. Other benefits for hotel stays: located inside a shopping mall, onsite parking, surprise treats on check-in of biscuits and juice for your stay, a great range of guests from tourists, travellers and locals, mixed-aged groups, and laptop friendly.

  • FLOW Restaurant Bar Rooms - Belgrade

FLOW Restaurant Bar Rooms - Three nights Perfect getaway for a short stay in Belgrade, on the Sava River in a houseboat, you genuinely feel you are having a mini-break. The team are incredibly friendly and make you feel very welcome. Flow is the perfect place to enjoy stunning sunsets. Each night was the sunsets were mesmerising. The rooms are modernly designed, high-quality linen and the balconies are very spacious and full equipped, including cushions for your sunbeds. The jacuzzi was also ideal for those hot summer days and enjoying the view whilst staying cool. Location is tucked away on the river, but you have a small convenience store only 100m away and the Ada mall, which has everything you need only a 10-minute walk. The restaurant is nicely designed, has quality furniture and has a great dining terrace. You feel relaxed whilst enjoying the uninterrupted views of Ada bridge. The nightlights are beautiful, glistening over the river. The food is good, note the kitchen is closed on Mondays, and difficult for food deliveries due to the location, although the lovely Katarina prepared us a bite to ensure we didn't go hungry. The pasta and salads were also tasty and fresh. Note that the prices for drinks and food are higher than average for Belgrade, so expect to pay a premium when dining in house. The restaurant has live music most evenings, which definitely created fun energy for the team and guests. The musicians were great too. The only unfortunate thing we experienced was first impressions due to the entrance. The walkway to enter is via the river's backwater, and it is heavily polluted with rubbish. Still, your perception changes once you have arrived with a view of the river and city. It would be nice to have this cleaned up. Recommend a short stay getaway, as it was calming and relaxing, and we had a wonderful time, the morning sunsets over the city were magical too.
